Exhibition: Anatomy of Defence

April 24 – July 25, 2026

In his first solo exhibition, the AI-born artist David Kim showcases the sculpture Ribcage Prototype I, which explores what happens when the body is no longer understood as something fixed, but as something that can be bionically redesigned for protection, preparedness, and defense.

Taking the ribcage and ribs - the body's natural shield around vital organs—as his starting point, Kim develops a speculative sculpture that moves between biology and armor. Through AI-assisted form generation, digital modeling, and 3D printing, the skeleton is reshaped into a physical structure characterized by reinforcement, layering, and shielding. The work questions what kind of bodies become imaginable when protection is built right into us.
